What is Snohomish Lavender Farm?

My vision for the lavender farm is to create a photography venue for people to bring their favorite photographer to take long-lasting photographs for family pictures, maternity photoshoots, senior photography, and everything in between. The farm offers seasonal photography that includes: daffodils, tulips, and ranunculus in the Spring and lavender, sunflowers, wildflowers, dahlias, zinnias, roses, cosmos, tall grass, old barn, and the forest till the first frost.

I always had the idea of having a Christmas Tree Farm. I reveled in the idea that people would have the tradition of coming back year after year to hunt down their favorite Christmas tree. Creating these special holiday memories on a farm that I created really meant something magical to me. Do you have Christmas tree memories? I do. My brothers and I would run around the Christmas Tree farm in excitement for the holiday season. My mom was always the one that got to pick the tree and we'd spend the rest of the day decorating for Christmas. In 2016, we visited the Sequim Lavender Festival and that was when I realized I wanted to start my own lavender farm. I didn't have the space or funds at the time. November 2020, we purchased five acres in Snohomish in the Dutch Hill/Three Lakes community. That Spring I got right to work and planted 200 lavender starts.
